Maybe it was the special allure of Kobe Beef that made this restaurant the way it was but we found this place to be hoity-toity and the service seemed slow and unattentive. Perhaps it was supposed to give the impression of fine dining but we were not impressed.
First, when we got there, they made us wait 30 minutes but looking around, we saw many tables empty where patrons had eaten there and their plates were still on the table. There was no one bussing the plates and preparing the table for the next patrons. Does fine dining really entail looking at dirty dishes on tables?
Second, their menu was not very clear because their menu had a lunch special but what they failed to inform us and it wasn't written anywhere was that you had to order one of the pricey beef dishes.
