This was indeed an exceptionel experience, to taste real Kobe Wagyu meat. But keep in mind, this was also incredibly expensive. We spent about 30.000 Yen/person. Taken into consideration, eating Japanese is rarely expensive at all, regard this as a curiosity you might want to experience once in a life-time, or maybe not - I have experienced eating great Wagyu meat at considerably lower prices, so I guess some would say that the Kobe classification is a bit of a gimmick. Also, I had a bottle of French red whine served, and it was freezing cold - this is something we have seen before when ordering red whine in Japan.
But nevertheless, we had a great time and the food was fantastic.
