Was looking for affordable Kobe beef skewers around Dotonburi and came across this place. They were advertising Kobe beef skewers starting at 1500 yen. Upon asking, they informed us that the scraps / offcuts were 1500 yen with the price increasing with the more premium cuts. We decided to just try the scraps and my goodness! It was delicious - I’d take the scraps any day! It was juicy and you could really taste the beef. The staff was kind enough to let us try the sauce in case we didn’t want the skewer with the sauce and we decided to skip on the sauce as it was quite a strong garlic taste. We had it with just salt and pepper and am so glad we did. Would definitely come back for more!
