Be wary of this restaurant offering so called Kobe beef. We ordered courses close to US$100 and US$60 respectively and the more expensive beef is significantly worse than its counterpart. In fact the $100 beef is almost inedible, full of chewy tendons and worse than most $10 beef you can have in say, Pepper Lunch chains.
The waiters’ attitude is outrageous as well. They were eager to brush off our claim that the beef is inedible. I understood that Kobe beef is expensive and what we paid might not be enough for the best meat, but for a 2-person meal that is over US$200 including drinks and sides, I would expect at least a shred of respect for my dining experience.
