Good meat, poor service.
Overall, not worth the price, too touristy.
With some more care it could be definitely worth.
The meat quality was good, inevitably and thankfully for the place.
We have been a little surprised by the service: worrying more about taking pictures for the guests than cooking the meat correctly.
We were two separate couples served by the same chef, with the unfortunate coincidence of ordering at the same time.
Our very young chef did not manage to separate the services by a few minutes, so he found himself needed to do the same actions at the same time on both sides of the griddle, ending up cooking our meat more than it should have. Especially as we had ordered rare and the other couple wanted it medium-rare.
Furthermore, he god distracted by another group of guests from another chef, and left out meat too long on the heat; it turned hard on one side. See picture for reference.
All other items of the menu set (salad, rice, and soup) have been among the worst we had in 2 weeks in Japan.
We spent over 300€ in 2.
For this price, I would expect more care from the chef, a less rushed service, good quality sides, and a matching of sides with the meat cut (which we got elsewhere eating Kobe beef).
