I had a great meal while exploring Dotonbori! I got the garlic fried rice and a meat skewer from the side stall they set up for those walking by. There are many cuts of Kobe beef you can choose from if you aren’t into rice dishes and just want to taste the grilled beef.
The chef who prepared the meal (Y. Matsumoto) even asked after I finished my thoughts on it from an American perspective, as the flavor palate might be different.
While there might be many places on this street that sell meat skewers, I would recommend this one.
