We came here on the recommendation of a friend who had eaten here before. The entire experience was amazing. Our chef, Rui, brought our selected cuts to our seats at the grill and began to expertly prepare our meal. To say the beef was delicious would be doing it a disservice. Every little detail felt meticulously thought out. The simple condiments of fresh wasabi, picked garlic, and fleur de sal perfectly enhanced the flavor of the perfectly mid rare beef. We ordered a filet mignon, ribeye, and a sirloin between my wife, daughter and myself. Every bite was like extraordinarily delicious beef pillows. The meal set included vegetables, which were also delicious but lost in the maelstrom of beefy goodness. And then there was a Kobe beef bone broth. I feel like I am running out of superlatives to properly describe the meal.
The Kobe beef was beyond even what anyone had described it would be like. The service by our chef was perfect. I don't think anything can properly prepare you palate for the experience of real Kobe beef in Japan.
