I had dinner at Kobe Beef Wanomiya Dotonbori and while the meat quality was undeniably top-tier rich, tender and beautifully marbled. The overall experience left me feeling a bit rushed. I spent around $730 and although the flavor was amazing, the portion size felt quite small for the price. What really took away from the moment was how fast the staff grilled everything, they kept cooking the next pieces before I could finish the last, so by the time I got to them, the meat was no longer at its best. It made it hard to enjoy each bite slowly and intentionally which was disappointing for such a premium meal. All in all, it’s a good place to try Kobe beef but I’d recommend politely asking the staff to slow down the grill so you can truly appreciate every bite.
