If you want a proper Kobe beef experience, do not go here. Do you research because the 4.8 stars is a lie.
Decent atmosphere, but the "chefs", I use the term lightly, have NO idea what they're doing. They are just people just hired to cook, but certainly aren't chefs in any sense. What they did with such high quality meat is a sin.
We ordered the wagyu sirloin and rib eye. They asked how we wanted the steaks cooked, which they shouldn't even be asking because high level chefs automatically know how to cook every type of cut to maximum perfection. However, I asked what they recommended and they said medium rare. The pieces were very inconsistently cooked, with some being decent and melted was expected, while others were chewy, fatty and inedible.
We also ordered garlic fried rice and they managed to burn all the garlic before mixing it with the rice and other ingredients. How they managed to burn garlic is beyond me, but that was all you could taste in the fried rice.
The highlight of the meal ended up being a beef broth soup and a single complimentary piece of wagyu sushi.
They were all nice and pleasant enough, but were a bunch of post college kids who had no business being in that kitchen and dealing with such quality ingredients.
