For the price, the level of skill is appalling. We were assigned a young chef who didn't seem experienced and indeed he wasn't, as he started cooking the meat without asking us the doneness and after we asked him about it he recommended medium rare but by then the meat was already over cooked. The set up of the cooking area and service style was very awkward as when the staff tried to serve us the salad and soup (both which was meh), the chef had to step aside and couldn't reach the meat, leaving it to cook way too long. The vegetables he grilled was under cooked. In addition he left a plate too near the stove and it melted slightly. The kobe beef fried rice was too salty and mushy. The older chef cooked the meat in a better way however when I told him the meat was overcooked he merely nodded. For the price the level of professionalism was poor. It ended up feeling like a tourist trip that ripped us off.
