This was a very bad experience for Kobe beef during our trip.
We went there with 10 people for early dinner just walked in and no reservation needed.
We ordered different sets for 10 people. Two chefs served us. One cooked the veggies, the other young chef prepared the beef. Our food was randomly served by what they cooked. Five of us were served with vegetables and waiting for the beef quite some time. The others were served with vegetables in the middle of the course. The quality of the beef is so so. The cooking skill of the chefs was disappointing. The beef was cutting into different sizes, big and small.
In short, this was the worst teppanyaki I have ever had in Japan. Will definitely not going there again.
With the no tipping culture in Japan, I found it quite shock with their extra 5% service charge in the bill.
