We originally went to a different related restaurant (apparently there's a lot under the same group) where we met Rin, tried communicating in English but surprisingly she's fluent in Chinese and suggested speaking that and had no issues communicating with us. She told us that it was full and called Kou to bring us to this restaurant after giving us the menu so we can check if it's within our budget first. I ordered the comparison set of red meat and rare cuts and it was great(and came with a bunch of extras like soup and salad and dessert). The red meat does have a tougher texture and tendons so be warned it might be too hard to chew for some people, but the rare cuts were tender and you can still see some marbling despite being medium rare, the hot sake I had helped cut through the richness and reset the palette, else it would have been overwhelmingly rich. The dessert that came with the order was good, especially the matcha pudding, it was melt in your mouth. Kou also answered any questions we had, such as swapping out the included after-meal coffee for a different drink and our confusion about ordering two 合 of hot sake and getting one pitcher (turned out it was a bigger pitcher with two portions). Be warned that the meat is really rich and fatty so you might get overwhelmed by it, take this into account when ordering your portion size
