Had a 11/10 experience at this restaurant. We made an online reservation on the 25th of July (weekday) at 12pm, which was also their opening time so we were their first customers for the day. The place only has 10 chairs in front of the teppanyaki grill where the chef cooks the beef. It was a very intimate experience because the 12pm slot only had 4 people in total which included my gf and I. This place only serves Kobe beef so we ordered their “red meat” which was 6000+yen and their recommended sirloin for 17000+yen including tax just to taste the difference. As we came during lunch, the prices for the beef already included the course meal compared to needing to pay extra for the course meal if we came during dinner time. We also opted for garlic rice which I really recommend because the chef used fatty beef to cook in the rice making it really worth for 800 yen. Both cuts were very flavourful but the sirloin definitely melted in my mouth and I would recommend this cut for anyone eating Kobe beef for the first time. Out of all the condiments which were provided, I felt that eating the beef with the onion slice and wasabi which the chef recommended was the best way to experience the full flavour profile of the beef. All the dishes of the course meal were excellent and the waitress and chef Azumai Toshiyuki elevated the whole experience by being very respectful and polite, making small talk with us while also giving us our own space and time to enjoy our meal. Overall, look no further if you want to pay for expensive kobe beef which comes with great service and an intimate atmosphere.
