Definetely, kobe beef is world-quality, no argument there. So we undoubtedly found the beef delicious. However, we had better Kobe beef's in Japan. Our main problem was with the price/quality ratio. Before booking, we have checked the menu and saw that there was a set menu of ~8000yen, including appetizers and dessert. When we went to the restaurant, this menu was not available. So we were kind of obliged to pick another set menu, costing 13000yen. In this menu, you have the option to chose your beef. Since we already were over our budget, we wanted to chose the relatively cheaper option (still very expensive of course) but they were "sold out" for some reason so we were forced to go with the premium beef option. At the end, when we were hoping to leave with ~16000 yen check, we had to leave with 40000yen 😯 Honesty also, the beef appetizers were just Ok! And for the money you are paying, we found it very over priced. We still liked the chef a lot, he explained everything in English and he tried to make a connection. We appreciate that but... overall experience was very disappointing.
