This is a more expensive place if you want to purchase the better cuts of meat. The chef was fantastic and was open to taking pictures with us and sharing his experience. English was a little difficult but better than I had in most other places in Japan!

Great experience start to finish. We shared a beef tasting that allowed us to compare 4 different cuts of Kobe beef. Each had its own unique flavor and texture ~ they were all top notch. Get the large course of sides (B course I think). Totally worth it! And get the garlic rice. They cook it in the beef fat and it is outstanding!

Everything was perfect - setting, food, service - the chef was especially paying attention to our young 10 y/o daughter and making sure she was happy. Attention to details, quality of all the ingredients (in addition to the Kobe beef!), and most kind and genuine hospitality. What else can we ask for. Worth every penny

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Chef Onishi and the staff were absolutely amazing in providing an unforgettable experience for myself and my palate. I will never have steak the same again. I truly believe this is the one of the highlights of my trip to Japan. Thank you so much to Chef Onishi and the team.
