KG was very interactive and fluent in English! He remember us by name and had good knowledge on his food. We had fun & it was a great experience! Kobe beef was good too! The sirloin was very rich. We ordered Sirloin and ‘Today’s Rare part tender red meat course’, the latter was very tender and less fatty. We would recommend the sirloin for people who could take fatty meat well. If you prefer something less fatty, then the latter meat course is great!

Had the best beef ever at this cute little teppanyaki restaurant in Kobe! Chef Kei Ji (KG) and Nicole were super friendly and skilled, the ambience was great too! Highly recommend! (Reservations is a must as they only have 4 sessions a day, each seating 10 pax)

Quite simply - the best beef I've ever had in my life. And I pride myself on cooking ribeye at home at least weekly and cooking it rather well. It was not cheap but it was absolutely worth every penny. The staff were awesome, and the experience is well worth the effort of making it to Kobe. We booked our reservation for lunch the night before. Make sure you get a reservation. Chef KG (or "Nicholas Cage" as he jokingly referred to himself) was awesome! You can find beef in japan nearly this good for much less but you cannot get this level without making the effort. Everything is cooked in front of you. Cannot stress, fairly well traveled and well fed in my life; this was the single best piece of beef I have ever tasted. I got the premium sirloin set course. Whole experience was a blast. Thanks Chef KG & Team!
