Had Kobe beef for the first time ever at Kobe beef genkichi. Had a fabulous experience thanks to the funny and witty humor of the owner (Nihon Nicholas Cage) and awesome culinary skills of chef Onishi! Beef just melts in your mouth. Highly recommend.

Had the pleasure of meeting Keiji and Onishi during our lunch visit and they are so nice and welcoming! They took the time to explain where their meat comes from and how to eat our meals properly. Everything was so delicious! I would highly recommend this place if you’re in Kobe.
