Amazing food and service from master chefs Keiji and Onishi. The Kobe beef was the best I ever had, and the chefs kept us entertained all throughout the meal. Highly recommended if you’re coming to Kobe.

I highly recommend this Kobe beef Genkichi Wagyu restaurant. Our chef Sugimoto Keiji (KG) was very kind and accommodating to foreigners. The experience was great and the meat was fantastically delicious. My group tried the Sirloin, marbled beef and tender red meat and thought that the marbled beef was the best of the three. When I asked the chef he said that all of the Kobe beef is bought from auctions and sold at the restaurant.

Keiji Sugimoto (KG) is the great chef that cooked the food and interacted with us during our meal.
