This was, hands down, the best meal I've ever had. The service was incredible and the staff were so kind. Not only was presentation immaculate, but the team shared history of Kobe beef, information about the seasonal sides, and provided recommendations to amplify the experience.

We had an amazing experience at Genkichi! Chef Onishi, Nicole, and staff were kind, made us feel welcome, and gave us the history of Kobe as we went through our meal. Every bit of the meal was incredible. Highly highly recommend making a reservation here! It was well worth the day trip from Osaka for our group of 8.

What a great meal! Absolutely recommend for those who are stopping for Kobe beef experience. From the impeccable service (thanks KG and Onishi san) to the attention to detail, I am so glad to say this was the highlight of the trip to Japan! We chose the most basic beef cuts and they really melt in your mouth! Definitely need to eat the beef with ponzu or wasabi to cut down on the fattiness of the beef. The rice is probably the best rice I’ve ever had in Japan, the garlic fried rice could be too much on top of all the food you’re already eating.

Last night at Kobe Beef Genichi was truly unforgettable, thanks to the incredible food and impeccable service from Cage and the rest of the staff. From start to finish, it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The standout feature of the evening was, of course, the beef. Each cut was prepared to perfection, showcasing the rich marbling and tenderness that Kobe beef is famous for. The flavors were incredibly deep, with each cut offering a unique taste and texture that left a lasting impression. Whether it was the melt-in-your-mouth tenderness every bite was an absolute treat. The attention to detail in both the preparation and presentation was evident, making this not just a meal, but an experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to indulge in premium kobe beef in a truly exceptional setting.

Amazing and personal experience! Not only is the food exquisite, but the atmosphere is quaint and welcoming. The chef prepares your meal in front of you while the staff provides recommendations for how to complement the meat with sauces and seasonings. This is our second time in Japan, first time in Kobe, and we might need to make another trip back to experience this restaurant again!

Dream come true. Watched so many youtube videos of teppanyaki kobe beef, and today I experienced one that I really enjoyed. It takes around 2 hours of beatiful meat and very nice hospitality. Thanks to Chef Keiji and Chef Onishi

Excellent experience with interactive chef and staff. Staff multilingual and KG is very friendly and sings well too. Awesome food quality as well.
