This was our second Kobe beef dining experience in Japan, and it was, simply put, THE BEST steak I have ever had. Taste, preparation, all the extras that came with the menu, all these things were perfect. Master Kaiji was very friendly and easy going, but he has never lost focus on preparation of the meat. All the theater you expect from from wagyu experience was there (including showing all the certificates and diplomas) but it was done in a tasteful and friendly manner. We were lucky to do walk-in without prior reservation, but only because 8 person group just cancelled. I recommend prior booking.
