Everything about this place was amazing. The atmosphere felt very fancy and all of the staff was very courteous and attentive to your needs. I got lucky and was able to walk in without a reservation because the people that day cancelled. I did a bunch of research before picking a kobe beef spot and none of the other courses in the area stacked up to what Kobe Beef Genkichi provides. Everything dish from start to finish was spectacular and Chef Keiji and Onichi helped to make it a lively atmosphere. I even got a couple gifts from him at the end and got to take a picture with the statue certifying the authenticity of the A5 Wagyu. Definitely recommend and would come again if I’m back in Kobe.
