Overpriced tourist trap, worst part of our trip. The very good reviews are likely given by tourists who did not try other places. The meat is OK but no difference relative to other much cheaper places, the menus are OK but not very special or tasty, the garlic rice even tasted burned and somewhat unpleasant to eat, and there are no locals at all. The worst part is that the atmosphere and service are really bad, for example: (1) my garlic rice arrived at the end of the meal because they forgot about it (I had to ask), and a customer next to us had to remind them that they forgot his soup, (2) sometimes all the waitresses are in another room so if you need something there is no one to attend to you, (3) when we came in instead of the normal good evening or hi we are greeted with an aggressive "do you have a reservation?", (4) they ask you to leave reviews at the end with a QR code and the chef goes around serving as a photographer taking pictures of customers with their phones next to food and some enormous golden Kobe "awards" which is extremely weird.
