We had a wonderful dining experience at Genkichi Restaurant. The service was excellent—very attentive, warm, and professional throughout our visit. Chef Yasu is extremely skilled and knowledgeable. The Kobe beef was absolutely outstanding—tender, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. It was truly one of the best Kobe beef experiences we’ve ever had. The restaurant itself has a beautiful and elegant atmosphere, making the meal even more enjoyable. Everything from the food to the service and environment was top-notch. Highly recommended, and we would definitely come back again!

Overall a nice experience dinning at this restaurant. Beef was good but we feel the set comes with too little veg. Sushi rice was a little under cooked to my liking. But we came for beef so it’s good.

Better than the rest. Genkichi wasn't our only Kobe beef experience during our stay but it definitely was the most memorable. From speaking with our chef and the owner to them taking photos and creating almost a show like dining experience. Both our chef Yasu, and the owner Keiji brought so much amazing energy creating something special. The set menus side dishes were amazing in of itself and the beef was as expected world class. Highly recommend to go here if you only have time to visit one Kobe beef restaurant.

Amazing experience from start to finish. We got to see a high-level Kobe beef Grand Champion cutting, and the quality was unreal—easily some of the best beef I’ve ever had. Chef YASU was awesome—super skilled, funny, and made the whole experience fun. KG, the owner, was just as great and incredibly welcoming. He even gave us handwritten thank-you cards, and his daughter made a beautiful kimono-folded paper crane, which was such a thoughtful touch. Incredible food, great people, and unforgettable hospitality. Highly recommend.
