Everything was okay however having lived in Japan for many years I was stunned to see a sign prominently inflowing the guests that tipping is customary in Japan. It is NOT, Indeed tipping is considered to be somewhat offensive in Japan. This behaviour is appalling and this indicates a significant degree of insincerity in this restaurant.
