The staff and the owner here are incredibly friendly, and the restaurant itself has a great, comfortable environment. Sadly, for us, that is where the positives end.
In my opinion, the food quality does not justify the premium price tag at all. We paid over 220,000 Yen for three people, but we felt the assorted platters consisted of mostly average-tasting meat. My impression is that the setup relies heavily on tourists who don't know the area, charging exorbitant prices for what we found to be mediocre quality. Great service, but I felt it was definitely a tourist trap when it came to the food and the bill.
