Shin and staff at Miyabi were excellent, exceeding in their craft. I appreciated the friendliness to foreigners, native English speakers and novice learners/enthusiasts of Japanese culture.
Miyabi, conveniently located in Kobe from a nearby station is easily accessible with varying ranges of options from on the rise trends of Kobe beef like steak box as opposed to the traditional teppanyaki style.
For my 08/26/25 visit, I opted for the teppanyaki style. Honestly, I was tempted to get one of the more expensive cuts but since I am on a budget, the staff were kind and allowed me to change my order (granted I alerted them before they started grilling the Kobe beef). I got the second smallest Prime cut and it was delicious! The staff was conversational and I joined a dining floor with a pair/duo that was mid way through their meal.
