I made a reservation on my first solo trip and sat at a six-person counter with other customers.
The food was very satisfying, and the person who served me explained everything to me carefully.
However, there were a few things that bothered me:
① The attitude of the staff on the first floor was a bit off.
Perhaps they have a division between those who guide customers and those who don't, but even though there were clearly customers at the entrance and they were watching, they didn't say anything, and I felt like I wasn't welcome when I first arrived.
I also paid on the first floor on my way out, but even though they were right in my line of sight, they seemed to ignore me and made me wait, which made it awkward until the cashier arrived. They could have just said, "Please wait a moment."
② I heard someone in the kitchen, perhaps at the back of where I was eating, giving instructions in a loud, harsh tone. Of course, this may be necessary for the job. However, I was just enjoying some delicious food and a different experience, and hearing this put me off a bit. I think they could have been a bit more considerate.
3. I was planning to stay overnight, so I had quite a bit of luggage, but I didn't know where the luggage rack was. I thought they might help me out, but there was no sign. The luggage rack was in a blind spot at the entrance, but I was nervous and alone, so I overlooked it. If they had said something like, "Please use that place," I would have noticed, but they didn't, so I didn't notice and ended up forcing my luggage onto the chair I was sitting on.
I think that kind of consideration would have been helpful.
